Relay is a web app for small trucking fleets. The owner, the dispatcher and the drivers all work from the same load record — so the pickup number, the appointment, the instruction and the money are never three different stories.

Why it exists

Built by a driver with 20 years in freight. The most expensive problems in a small fleet are rarely the big ones — they're the driver sitting an hour at a shipper waiting on a pickup number that should have come with the load, the instruction nobody can prove was sent, the load that looked good until fuel and deadhead were counted.

Relay is built to close those gaps, one rule at a time.

How you use it

It runs in the browser. Nothing to install. Owner and dispatch use it on a computer or phone; drivers open it on their phone. Sign in at app.operator-relay.com.

Drivers are invited, not signed up. The owner sends a private link that works for 24 hours. Once the driver opens it he has 30 minutes to add his license, medical card and tax details and choose a password.

Android apps are next. The owner and driver apps will be offered for download from the sign-in page. Until then, the web app does everything above.

What we're careful about

Each company sees only its own data. The database enforces it on every table — a driver sees his own loads and pay, nobody else's.

Records can't be quietly changed. Acknowledgements are permanent, and important actions are written to an audit trail with a name and a time.

No made-up numbers. Where Relay doesn't have real data yet — like live fuel prices — it shows nothing rather than guessing.
